80th Anniversary of the Rosenstrasse Protest Events
about 1 year ago – Sun, Feb 26, 2023 at 08:34:38 AM

Hello lovely backers!

We like to keep mail to your inbox to a respectful minimum, so it's been a while since we sent out a greeting. I hope that everyone was had a chance to read or play the game and were as happy with the final product as we were. We're grateful that all of you helped us make it a reality. Since we've published, folks have reached out to let us know that study of Rosenstrasse has been integrated into several university History and Game Studies programs, and our donor copies are hard at work in the hands of our partner organizations.

This Monday, February 27, 2023 marks the 80th anniversary of the start of the Rosenstrasse protest! We have been honoured to be invited to participate in a few events that are happening in commemoration, and I thought I'd let you know in case you would like to attend to learn more, or just wanted to know how the project you have funded continues to take root in the world.  Today at 3 p.m. EST The Museum of Jewish Heritage is featuring a virtual panel to commemorate the event. In it Nathan Stoltzfus (the Dorothy and Jonathan Rintels Professor of Holocaust Studies at Florida State University), Ruth Wiseman (daughter of Dr. Rita Jenny Kuhn, who was detained at Rosenstrasse), Mordecai Paldiel (former head of the Righteous Among the Nations Department at Yad Vashem) and I will shine a spotlight on the protest and it's importance to our history, present and future.

From March 8th -16th, 2023, an exhibit depicting the Rosenstrasse womens' civil courage and their family stories will be on display at the Goethe-Institut in Washington DC.  This exhibit is a cooperation between the German Embassy, the Rosenstrasse Foundation, the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum, and the Goethe-Institut Washington. On March 8 - International Women's Day - there is an event to kickoff the grand opening of the exhibit, and I will be on hand with a game exhibit to talk about what we've done and to showcase the importance of the protest to history.  If you're in the DC area, come by to view the exhibit!

Continuing thanks to all of you, and hoping you are safe and well,

ENNIE's Nomination - Please help!
almost 2 years ago – Mon, Jul 18, 2022 at 06:05:04 PM

Hello lovely backers!

Ennies 2022 Nominee

We are proud to let you know that Rosenstrasse has been nominated for an ENNIE award for Best Writing! The ENNIE Awards are an annual fan-based celebration of excellence in tabletop roleplaying gaming. The nominations are performed by a panel of judges, but in the end they are a peoples’ choice award, where the final winners are voted upon online by the gaming public.

Would you please consider taking a moment to vote for us? We are extremely happy to see ttrpg awards like the ENNIES consider us, and hope that this recognition can to blaze a trail for other games like Rosenstrasse to be seen, played, and recognized in the future.

However, compared to a lot of the other nominees we are a very small press with a small audience so to win we need all the help we can get! Please vote and share if you'd like to see us succeed.

In love and resistance,

Mo & Jessica
